Howdy I have a problem with an application developed in VB6 SP6 I've written that installs and runs fine on 98SE, ME, and XP, and I'm told installs fine on Vista RC2, but fails when run with an error message: I need to get hold of the latest Vista beta to test this out and try and work out what the problem is.

Have you tried to install Microsoft Pocket Streets from the Microsoft Trips and Streets DVD with WMDC. It complains that it cannot find Active Sync and fails. I have 3 HDs (4 actually, but 2 are a RAID mirror), each formatted with a single Active primary partition and the rest of the drive in an extended partition divided into multiple logical drives. In the early part of the Vista beta, we were able to just edit WinXP's Boot.ini to choose between Vista and WinXP.
